As of the most recent update to this site, the Krakoan Age of X-Men has officially drawn to a close. Another relaunch has been started, under the title “From the Ashes.” Whether or not I will be using that title for my next era name remains to be seen.
It will probably be awhile before I am ready to add more to the site. Not only because the new era just started, but also because, post-Krakoa, I think I am ready to take a break for a while. I did this before I started the Krakoan Age too. It takes some time for an era to complete (these days, usually around a year or two), so I wouldn’t expect anything faster than that when it comes to the next update for the main order.
I say “main” order because I do plan on making one more update to this site at some point in between now and my official return. I have decided to add the reading order for Ultimate X-Men (that is, the X-Men of the Ultimate Universe, Earth 1610)! I’m doing this because I already have it organized, and also because that way, anyone who finds this site accidentally while looking for that won’t have to be disappointed anymore. It will be here too. I’ll clearly mark it so that it doesn’t get confused with the rest.
In the meantime, I hope this site enriches your X-Men reading experience. These characters and their story have gained a permanent place in my heart, and my greatest hope is that my work here makes it easier for you to have a similar experience, whether it be from reading the entire story or just the part(s) you choose.
The Ultimate X-Men Reading Order
